Trovian Technologies

Privacy policy

The short version: we collect as little as possible, use it only to help you, and never sell it. The detail follows.

01Who we are

Trovian Technologies (“we”, “us”) provides digital and IT services to small and medium businesses through the website troviantechnologies.com. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@troviantechnologies.com.

02What we collect

We keep it minimal. We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us:

  • Enquiries: when you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you include — typically your name, business name, email address and your message.
  • Ongoing work: if you become a client, we hold the contact and billing details needed to deliver the work and meet legal obligations.

Our website does not require accounts, does not run advertising trackers and does not sell data to anyone.

03How we use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes you have asked for.
  • To deliver and manage services you have engaged us for.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations.

04Legal basis

Under the GDPR and applicable data-protection law, we process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a message you sent us) and client data on the basis of contract. Where we ever rely on consent, we ask for it explicitly and you can withdraw it at any time.

05International transfers

Some of our delivery team is based outside your country, including in India. Where personal data needs to cross a border to deliver your work, it is shared on a need-to-know basis under contractual safeguards consistent with the international data-transfer requirements of the GDPR and applicable data-protection law. Enquiry data stays within our core systems unless a project requires otherwise.

06How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by applicable tax and accounting law. After that, data is deleted.

07Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only with service providers needed to operate (such as email hosting), with our delivery teams as described above, or where the law requires it.

08Cookies

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the site to function.

09Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar data-protection laws you can ask us to:

  • show you the personal data we hold about you (access);
  • correct it (rectification);
  • delete it (erasure);
  • limit or object to how we use it (restriction and objection);
  • give it to you in a portable format (portability).

Email hello@troviantechnologies.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data-protection authority.

10Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, this page changes first. This version is effective from 12 June 2026.
